a little over a month to go now before christmas.

at home, maxine has made a tradition of having us write a christmas wishlist. it's become a tradition because it's fun to do and because everyone has an easier time shopping for christmas gifts. topping my list is a macbook. yeah i'm still obsessing over it. i don't really need a laptop. the only time i use the computer is when i'm at work. but still, i want! sabi ko nga sa friend ko, it's macbook or nothing. she said, "eh di nothing!"

i love love LOVE john mayer's new song, Dreaming With a Broken Heart. makes me wanna cry whenever i listen to it. it brings me back to those days when i was so heart broken i thought i would die. seriously. broken hearts are nice to remember when you are over them and have moved on. weird ba? haha. they just make me say a silent prayer of thanks that i am now where i am.

SMART has finally texted to tell me that the unit i want is already available and ready for claiming. hay salamat! i don't know if my complaint letter had anything to do with it though, since i sent that out only yesterday. maybe my nagging did it. well i just matched their kakulitan through text whenever i missed my payment due date. inaraw-araw ko nga. hmp!

boo hoo for the skinny ones

madrid fashion week started yesterday, and i heard on the news this morning that the Spanish Association of Fashion Designers has decided to ban super skinny models (those with a BMI of 18 or less) from the catwalk. all i can say is, it's about time! fashion people should set a good example for kids who are already insecure about their bodies. when i was in high school, i remember flipping through the pages of my friends' vogue and wishing i had a body like christy turlington's (though she's not so skinny now, more like super toned!).

hay. anyway, i wonder when i will get around to hitting the gym again. or at least get some form of physical exercise. i miss the adrenaline rush and the endorphine high of working out.
